Devotional
Good morning brothers and sisters.
There is a lie that many people quietly believe:
“I am too far gone for God.”
“I have done too much.”
“I committed the unforgivable sin.”
“God has forgotten me.”
I understand that thinking… because I’ve been there.
There were days I hated myself.
Days I wanted to disappear.
Days I felt forgotten by everyone.
But I was never forgotten by God.
And neither are you.
The enemy is clever. When we are already down, already ashamed, already tired, he uses our worst thoughts against us. He whispers louder when we feel alone. He tries to convince us that our sin is greater than God’s grace.
Some people never escape that lie.
Some get trapped in cycles.
Some believe it until the end.
But hear me today:
God has not forgotten you.
If you are worried that you have committed the unforgivable sin… you have not.
The unforgivable sin is described in Mark 3:28–30. It’s the hardened, continual rejection of the Holy Spirit — attributing the work of God to evil and permanently refusing repentance. It is not a moment of weakness, doubt, a bad season. It is not intrusive thoughts.
If you fear God…
If you worry about your salvation…
If you desire forgiveness…
That alone shows your heart is not hardened.
The Holy Spirit is still drawing you.
Romans 8:1 reminds us there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
John 6:37 tells us that whoever comes to Him, He will never cast out.
You are not forgotten.
You are not beyond grace.
You are not too broken.
Yes, you will fall short (Romans 3:23). We all do. But when you accept Jesus, you are no longer defined by your sin. You become a child of God who sometimes stumbles — not a hopeless sinner abandoned by Heaven.
When Jesus said, “It is finished,” He meant it (John 19:30).
Your debt was paid.
If you are far from God today — come back.
If you have never invited Jesus into your heart — let today be the day.
I cannot save you.
But Jesus can.
Prayer
Father God,
We come to You today asking for forgiveness.
Jesus, we thank You for Your sacrifice on the cross.
We believe You died for all of our sins.
We believe when You said “It is finished,” it truly was.
We open the door of our hearts today.
Fill the void only You can fill.
Wash us clean.
Restore us.
Make us new.
We know we will fail, but we repent and desire to walk with You.
Thank You for never giving up on us.
Thank You for never forgetting us.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
