Devotional

Good morning brothers and sisters!

I talk about this a lot because honestly… it’s a big one in my life. And maybe it is for you too.

Keep going. You are enough.

Sometimes the mission God has put in front of me feels huge—like way bigger than me. The calling, the dreams, the places I feel like God is leading me… it’s not small. And if I’m being real, there are moments where I sit there and think, “God, I’m not enough for this.”

But here’s the truth: I am enough. Not because of me—but because of Him.

And you are enough too.

Whatever God has called you to do, YOU can do it. That doesn’t mean it all happens overnight. A lot of times, there’s a season of growth, stretching, and preparation. God doesn’t drop you into something massive without walking you through the steps first.

That’s why Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:34 to focus on today. Not next week. Not next year. Just today.

God isn’t asking you to carry tomorrow’s weight right now. He’s asking you to be obedient today.

Take the step in front of you. That’s it.

Think about Moses in Exodus 4:10–12. He literally told God he wasn’t good enough—he doubted his ability to speak. But God didn’t argue with him about his weakness. Instead, He said, “I will be with you.”

That’s the difference.

God doesn’t need your perfection—He wants your obedience.

Your weakness? That’s not disqualifying. That’s exactly where God shows up the strongest. 2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds us that His power is made perfect in weakness. So the thing you think makes you “not enough”… might actually be the very thing God uses the most.

I feel that deeply. I’ve struggled with anxiety, and yet God called me to be an evangelist—something that goes directly against my natural comfort zone. My fear became the very place where God said, “Watch what I can do.”

That’s how He works.

The enemy will always try to tell you:
“You can’t.”
“You’re not enough.”
“God won’t use you.”

But that’s a lie.

God says in Philippians 4:13 that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Not some things. Not easy things. All things—through Him.

And when God calls you, like He did with Jeremiah (Jeremiah 1:7–8), He doesn’t ask for your qualifications. He simply says, “Go where I send you… I am with you.”

So don’t listen to the voice that tears you down.

Listen to the Lord.

You are enough.
You are loved.
You are not too small.

In fact, God specializes in using what looks small to do something big.

So today—just be obedient. Just trust. Just take the step in front of you.

The rest will come.

Prayer

Lord,

Thank You for reminding me that I am enough—not because of my strength, but because of Yours. Help me to stop listening to the lies that say I can’t, and instead trust what You say about me.

Teach me to focus on today and not get overwhelmed by what’s ahead. Give me an obedient heart, willing to go where You send me, even when it feels uncomfortable or bigger than me.

Use my weaknesses for Your glory. Show me how You are working in and through my life.

I trust You, God. Lead me step by step.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
