Why does God allow things like rape, abuse, murder, betrayal, and deep pain?
The short answer is this:
He doesn’t want it. He despises it just as we do.
God never desired these things.
He didn’t design evil.
He didn’t create sin.
He didn’t plant wickedness in anyone’s heart.
People choose these things.
Free will is a gift — but it’s also dangerous.
Most people choose good.
But some follow the urges of the evil one.
Some choose darkness.
Some use their free will to cause devastating harm.
And yes…
God can stop every evil action instantly.
But He promised He will not remove free will or destroy evil until the return of Jesus.
But here is the hope:
✨ God can turn even the deepest pain into something good.
Not because the pain was good —
but because He is.
Right now, your hurt may be from the actions of another human…
and maybe you’re mad at God because He didn’t stop it.
God understands that anger.
He understands the confusion.
He isn’t offended by your questions or your tears.
But here is the truth, my friend:
God can’t heal what you won’t give Him.
He can’t turn pain for good if you won’t let Him in.
He can’t restore what you keep locked behind a wall.
He isn’t asking you to forgive the one who hurt you — not yet.
First, He wants you to trust Him to make it right.
God didn’t hurt you.
God didn’t want to see you hurt.
Your pain breaks His heart.
I can’t answer why evil was allowed in your life
but stopped in another’s.
I can’t explain why some tragedies are prevented and others are not.
But this I know with full confidence:
God wants to heal your pain.
He wants to restore your heart.
He wants to fill the empty places.
He wants to replace the hurt with hope.
You may say you’re fine…
you’re happy…
life is good…
But somewhere deep down, there is a space filled with old wounds —
and God is standing right there, waiting to bring healing.
Let Him in.
Let Him work.
Let Him turn the pain into purpose.
🙏 Prayer
Father,
I bring You every wound, every memory, and every place in my heart that still hurts.
Help me trust You with the pain others caused me.
Heal the broken places inside me that I’ve tried to bury.
Show me that You were with me even in the darkness,
and remind me that Your desire is always to restore, redeem, and heal.
Turn my pain into purpose,
my tears into testimony,
and my hurt into healing.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Awesome!!!
