Are you tired?
Life gets hard. You can go and go and go through the daily grind. Work. Stress. Responsibilities. Trying to hold everything together while still praying, still reading your Bible, still showing up with a smile. You think everything is fine. You tell yourself you are fine.
But sometimes the pressure keeps piling up little by little without you even realizing it.
Then one night it all comes crashing down.
You break.
And honestly? More people understand that feeling than you think.
The beautiful thing is that God is not scared of your breaking point. Psalm 34 reminds us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. Not distant. Not angry. Close. Sometimes we think we have to hold ourselves together perfectly before coming to God, but Jesus never said, “Come to Me when you have it all figured out.” In Matthew 11, He simply said to come to Him when we are weary and burdened.
It is okay to admit you are tired.
It is okay to cry.
And It is okay to have moments where you feel overwhelmed.
That does not mean your faith is weak. It means you are human.
A lot of times we think because we are praying daily or staying in the Word that we should never struggle emotionally. But even faithful people get exhausted. Even strong believers have moments where the weight feels too heavy. Isaiah 40 says those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. That means there will be seasons where strength needs to be renewed in the first place.
The important thing is what you do when the breaking comes.
Do not let pain pull you away from God.
Run toward Him instead.
There are things we will never fully understand on this side of Heaven. There are prayers that seem delayed. Doors that stay shut longer than we wanted. Situations that hurt deeply. Proverbs 3 tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding. Sometimes trusting God means admitting, “Lord, I do not understand this… but I still believe You are good.”
That kind of faith is powerful.
I’ve had those days too where everything suddenly hits at once. The exhaustion. The frustration. The emotions you thought you had under control. But even in those moments, I never blamed God. I may not understand the why, but I trust that He does. Romans 8 reminds us that God is working all things together for good for those who love Him. Even the hard days. Even the breaking moments.
So if you are tired today, slow down and breathe for a moment.
God has not left you.
Your breakdown is not the end of your story.
You are still going to be okay.
Keep trusting Him even when life does not match your timeline. God is never late. He follows His perfect timing, not ours. And even in the waiting, even in the hurting, even in the exhaustion — He is still faithful.
Keep your faith in God.
Prayer
Lord, You know the weight we carry that nobody else sees. You know the exhaustion, the stress, the silent battles, and the moments where everything feels like too much. Thank You for staying close to us even in our breaking moments. Help us trust You when we do not understand what You are doing. Renew our strength when we feel worn down and remind us that we are never alone. Teach us to lean on You instead of trying to carry everything ourselves. No matter what comes, help us keep our faith rooted in You. In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
