📖 Daily Devotional — “Stop Spreading the Hate”

💭 Reflection

Oh my brothers and sisters…
There’s a weight on my heart today, something the Holy Spirit has been pressing on me for days now:

Stop spreading the hate.
Somebody out there needs to hear this.

You may think you’re saying the right things…
You may feel like you’re standing for truth…
But the message God is giving right now is simple and firm:

STOP!

Not because truth isn’t important — it is.
But because the way we share it matters just as much as the truth itself.

Some of us are hurting more than we’re healing.
Some of us are spreading anger, not light.
Some of us are speaking faster than we’re listening.

God didn’t call us to add to the noise.
God didn’t call us to join the chaos of social media arguments.
God didn’t call us to tear down people He’s trying to reach.

He called us to love.
To be slow to anger.
To be slow to speak.
To be quick to listen.

If someone is being hurt, speak up — but speak to the right people.
Don’t broadcast anger to the world.
Don’t confuse venting with ministry.
Don’t let the world shape your reactions.

God is saying:

• Listen to Me, not the world.
• Be angry at the enemy, not each other.
• Speak life, not death.
• Spread joy, not hate.

Your words, your thoughts, and your actions reflect who you truly are.
Change what you speak, change what you think, change what you do —
and the answers you’ve been searching for will begin to come.

Stop following the world.
Follow the Lamb.
He’s waiting for you.

🙏 Prayer

Father… Heavenly Father…
We come to You today lifting up the lost and the believers who have lost their way.
Teach us to be the light they need.
Teach us to speak life, to spread love, to choose joy.

Give us discernment —
to know right from wrong,
to know when to speak and when to listen,
to know the difference between conviction and cruelty.

Help us follow the Lamb and not the world.
If we are far from You, bring us near.
And Father, for those who wish to follow the Lamb right now, we pray alongside them:

Jesus… we believe.
We believe You died for us.
We believe You took our punishment.
We believe our past and our future are covered by Your blood.
We accept You as our Savior.

Fill our hearts today with Your Spirit.
Lead us toward Your promises.
We are Yours.

In Jesus’ name we pray — Amen.
