📖 Daily Devotional — “Stop Scrolling. Start Listening.”
📖 Verse of the Day
“For those who are living according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh… but those who are living according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. The mind of the flesh leads to death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace.”
— Romans 8:5–6 (AMP)
💭 Reflection
STOP SCROLLING.
Seriously—pause for a moment.
We can spend hours scrolling feeds, watching reels, chasing entertainment, chasing distraction… and never stop long enough to hear God whisper our name.
We get tangled up in the world so easily—
possessions, lust, greed, anger, comparison, survival mode, stress, anxiety… even just trying to keep up with life.
But today God is calling out:
“Child… you can’t survive without Me.
Let go of the world. Come hold on to Me.”
We’re closer to the return of Jesus than any generation before us.
Whether He comes back today or in 200 years, one thing is guaranteed:
You and I are racing toward eternity every single day.
We don’t get younger (sadly 😅), and none of us know how many days we have left.
When I get to Heaven, I want YOU there too.
I want you in the crowd of redeemed souls celebrating forever with God.
So today—let go of the world.
Let go of the pressure, the fear, the stress, the sin patterns, the distractions.
Grab your Father’s hand like a child clinging to a parent.
He loves that grip.
He wants that closeness with you.
🙏 Prayer
Father God, we thank You for speaking today.
We thank You for being our Father, our strength, and our peace.
Today we let go of the world —
the possessions, lust, judgment, greed, anxiety, and worry that weigh us down.
Teach us to trust You with tomorrow and walk with You today.
Help us set our minds on Your Spirit, Your will, and Your purpose.
We cling to You, Father.
Hold us close.
In Jesus’ mighty name — AMEN, AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!!
Yes yes yes!!!!!
Absolutely!!
