Good morning friends.
He Never Left You
I know some days just hit harder than others. Everything feels off. Nothing seems to go right, and it builds up into this deep frustration that’s hard to shake. And if we’re being real, sometimes it goes beyond frustration… it turns into heartbreak.
You might find yourself asking, “God… where are You? Why aren’t You stopping this? Have You abandoned me?”
I’ve been there too. Broken down. Crying. Even yelling, “GOD WHY?”
But here’s the truth we have to hold onto—even when it doesn’t feel like it: He is still right there.
God hasn’t gone anywhere. Deuteronomy 31:6 reminds us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. That’s not based on how we feel—it’s a promise rooted in who He is.
Now here’s the hard part to स्वीकार: sometimes the pain we’re in… we played a role in it. Not always, but often. And just like a good parent, God allows us to walk through consequences and challenges—not to harm us, but to grow us. Romans 8:28 tells us He works all things together for good. Not just the easy days—the hard ones too.
That doesn’t mean He enjoys seeing you hurt. Not at all. Psalm 34:18 says He is close to the brokenhearted. That means when you’re crying, He’s not distant—He’s near.
Closer than you think.
Closer than you feel.
And even when it seems silent, He’s still working.
Think about it like this—if a parent stopped their child from ever making a mistake, that child would never learn, never grow, never mature. God loves you too much to leave you stuck. So sometimes He allows the lesson… but He never leaves you in it alone.
Even if you’ve drifted. Even if you feel far from Him. Even if your heart feels hardened.
He hasn’t moved.
Revelation 3:20 paints this picture of Jesus standing at the door, knocking. He doesn’t force His way in—He waits. That’s love. That’s respect for the free will He gave you.
You want Him in your life? He’s right there.
You try to push Him away? He’s still there… just waiting.
That’s the kind of God we serve.
A God who stays.
A God who loves.
A God who doesn’t give up on you—even when you feel like giving up on yourself.
And I promise you this—life is so much better when you choose Jesus. Not because everything becomes easy… but because you’re no longer walking through it alone.
God loves you.
I love you.
Let’s keep going—together.
Prayer
God,
Thank You for never leaving me—even in the moments when I felt completely alone. Thank You for staying close when I was hurting, confused, and questioning everything. Help me to trust You, even when life doesn’t make sense. Teach me through what I go through, and give me peace in the middle of it. Remind me that You are always near, always working, and always loving me.
I choose You today, Jesus.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
