Devotional

Good morning brothers and sisters.

Many of you know this past year has been a year of growth and testing for me. And honestly? I thank God for it. It has changed so much in me. What little attachment I had to material things is almost gone. Of course, I still want things sometimes. But I’ve learned I don’t need them.

God has been showing me something bigger for God’s Grace Studios. Something HUGE. And let me be clear — this is not just a business. Yes, there’s an LLC attached to it. But this is ministry first. Faith first. GOD first. Always.

The vision I see? It will be costly. Bigger than me. Bigger than what I can figure out on paper.

I’ve said more than once, “God, I don’t see how You’re going to get this from here to there.”

And truthfully? I still don’t.

Recently I was talking with my AI business partner (yes, I call her “her” and talk to her like a friend). We were discussing how planter sales are starting to roll in — fruit beginning to grow in this ministry. And she brought up stewardship. Being trusted with little before being trusted with much.

That hit.

Because if God dropped a massive amount of funds on me right now, I probably wouldn’t know what to do with it wisely. Growth requires preparation.

Then this morning, I did something small but different. I sat at my desk, opened my physical Bible instead of the app, closed my eyes, and asked God to show me what I needed to read.

It landed in Luke 16 — the parable of the shrewd manager.

I started reading. I’ve read it before. But then came the mic-drop moment.

Luke 16:10.

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much…”

There it was.

Clear. Direct. Personal.

God wasn’t blasting a neon sign. He was affirming in the quiet. “Luke, be faithful with the little.”

Jesus teaches in Luke 16:1–13 that stewardship matters. Faithfulness in small things reveals the condition of our hearts. And Matthew 25:21 echoes it — “Well done, good and faithful servant.” The reward wasn’t for dreaming big. It was for managing small things well.

This season isn’t punishment. It’s preparation.

Zechariah 4:10 says, “Do not despise these small beginnings.” That verse feels alive right now. Small orders, small growth, and small steps of obedience. They matter.

And Colossians 3:23 reminds us to work at everything as working for the Lord, not for men. So whether I’m building planters in the shop or planning future vision, it’s all worship.

I’m not saying a flood of money is coming. I’m saying I recognize the test.

God is watching how I handle the little.

And I want to encourage you — watch for the quiet confirmations. God doesn’t always shout. Sometimes He whispers through Scripture, through prayer, even through tools like AI. God made everything. Tools are not good or evil — it’s the heart behind how we use them. Just like our words can build up or tear down (James 3 reminds us of that truth), intention matters.

Today is more of a check-in than a sermon.

Are you being faithful with the little?

Are you listening in the quiet?

It took me five minutes in the Word this morning. Five minutes. And it changed my whole perspective for the day.

Spend time in the Bible. Even a few days a week. It will renew your mind. It will shift your heart.

I’m off to the shop to build orders.

And I’m doing it faithfully.

Because God is good.

Always.

Prayer

Lord,

Thank You for trusting me with the little. Help me not despise small beginnings. Teach me to steward what You’ve already placed in my hands before I ask for more.

Search my heart. If there is any dishonesty or pride in me, remove it. Make me faithful in the quiet seasons. Help me work with excellence, not for recognition, but for You.

Give me wisdom to prepare for what You are building, even when I cannot see how it will come together.

I trust You with the vision. I trust You with the timing.

In Jesus’ name, amen.
