What is Christmas?

Oh, I know… it’s that time of year where we spend way too much money on gifts,

parties, outfits, and Christmas lights (okay, I actually like the lights 😄).

We rush through stores, fight traffic, feel stressed, and sometimes even snap at each other.

Whoa… wait a second.

That is NOT what Christmas is about.

Christmas is the time we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus.

It’s a season of giving — not just bought gifts, but handmade gifts, time, kindness,

patience, and love. And maybe most importantly, it’s a season for grace.

Grace with strangers.
Grace with family.
Grace with the driver who cuts you off.

Slow down. Don’t rush through life trying to get everywhere faster.

Please — your family would rather have you late than never.

Remember Jesus this Christmas.

Celebrate His birth, His life, and His love for us.

Then go and spread that love. Call or text someone you’ve drifted from. Be the bigger person.

Show people who Jesus is — not just with words, but with how you live.

🙏 Prayer
God, thank You for the gift of Jesus. Thank You for grace, mercy,

and love freely given to us. Help us slow down during this season

and remember what truly matters.

Teach us to give grace to others as You have given grace to us.

Let our words, actions, and attitudes reflect Jesus so that others may see His love through us.
