๐ Daily Devotional โ Trusting God in the Waiting
๐ Verse
โThe Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him.โ
โ Lamentations 3:25
๐ญ Reflection
Waiting is one of the hardest places of faith โ not because God is absent, but because the heart feels the ache of what hasnโt arrived yet. There are seasons when we trust God completely and still feel deeply lonely. That tension does not mean our faith is weak; it means our hearts are honest.
God never said it was wrong to desire companionship. In fact, God acknowledged that it is not good for man to be alone. Wanting connection, intimacy, and shared life is part of how we were created. Waiting for it does not make you impatient โ it makes you human.
Faith in the waiting doesnโt look like pretending everything is fine. It looks like saying, โGod, this hurtsโฆ and I still trust You.โ It means believing that Godโs timing is purposeful, even when our hearts wish it were sooner. The waiting is not wasted. God uses it to deepen trust, strengthen character, and prepare us for what is coming.
You may not see the full plan yet, but you can be certain of this: God sees you, God knows your longing, and God is faithful to complete what God has begun.
๐ Prayer
God, I trust You even when waiting is hard. You know my heart, my desires, and my loneliness. I believe You have a plan, even when I donโt understand the timing. Help me walk this season with faith, patience, and hope. Strengthen me while I wait, and remind me that You are always near. Amen.
Absolutely true. Waiting is hard but the blessing is on its way.
