💭 Reflection

The wrapping paper is in the bin. The leftovers are in the fridge. The high of Christmas morning has started to settle into the quiet, sometimes messy reality of “the day after.”

It’s easy to feel the presence of God when the candles are lit and the carols are playing. But what about today? What about when the “consequences” of a busy season hit—the exhaustion, the cleanup, and the return to the daily grind?

The beauty of the Gospel is that Jesus didn’t just come for the silent night; He came for the noisy, dusty, work-filled mornings that follow. He is just as present in the “cleanup” as He was in the celebration.

In the Studio, we often say that you’re not broken, you’re becoming. Sometimes the “becoming” happens best in the quiet moments after the big events. It’s where we learn that His grace isn’t a one-day gift—it’s a daily provision. Whether you’re feeling tired today or already looking toward the next project, remember that God isn’t just watching you; He is rejoicing over you with singing.

He loves the worker in the shop just as much as the worshiper in the pew. Take a breath today. Grace still applies to the mess.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, thank You that Your presence doesn’t pack up with the decorations. Thank You for being the God of the “day after.” When we are tired and the mess feels overwhelming, remind us of Your delight in us.

I pray for those today who feel the post-holiday slump. Refill their tanks with Your peace. Help us to be “Dangerous to Darkness” even in the ordinary tasks of today. May we see Your hand in every restoration and every fresh start.
