📖 Scripture
“He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”

💭 Reflection
I grew up in church. I walked away from God for many years. When I came back, I already knew these verses — but they didn’t hit like they do now.
And for those who are new to Jesus… still lost, unsure, angry, or maybe never even heard the truth — this may not hit right away. So let me explain it plainly.
There are only two roads when this life ends. No third option. No loopholes.
Every one of us will stand before God.
Scripture tells us that Satan is the accuser. He will point out every sin, every failure, every moment we fell short. And if we stand there on our own, there is nothing we can say to erase the truth — we have sinned. We are guilty.
Good deeds won’t save us. Helping others won’t save us. Being “a good person” won’t save us.
If you stand before God without Jesus, you stand alone — and the result is separation from God. That place is real. Jesus called it hell. Fire. Darkness. Separation. It is not symbolic. It is not exaggerated. And it is not where God wants you to go.
But here is the turning point.
If you know Jesus — if you trusted Him while you were still on earth — He stands in your place and says, “I paid for this.”
Not with excuses.
Not with promises to do better.
But with His blood on the cross.
And because of Jesus, God declares: Not guilty. Forgiven. Clean. Righteous.
Friends, hear me now:
This is not about fear for fear’s sake. This is about truth.
Hell is real.
Judgment is real.
Eternity is real.
But so is mercy.
God did not create us for hell. Sin brought death into the world — and God responded by sending a Savior. Jesus is the lifeboat, and it is big enough for every one of us.
Please… don’t wait. Don’t brush this off. Don’t say “I’ll think about it later.” Later is not promised.
Talk to Jesus today. Call on Him. Ask Him to save you. Get to know Him while you still can.
I want to see you in Heaven.
Jesus wants that even more.
Let’s go home together.
🙏 Prayer
Father God,
Thank You for loving us enough to tell us the truth. Thank You for not leaving us lost, guessing, or alone. We confess that on our own, we fall short — no amount of good deeds can save us.
Jesus, thank You for being the way, the truth, and the life. Thank You for paying the price we could never pay. If there is anyone reading this who does not truly know You, stir their heart today. Remove fear that leads to hiding, and replace it with courage to seek truth.
For those who already know You, strengthen our faith and remind us of the seriousness of eternity. Give us boldness to speak truth, compassion to love well, and humility to point others to You.
We choose You today, Jesus. We trust You with our lives, our souls, and our eternity.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
