📖 Daily Devotional — Luke 5:32

“I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
— Luke 5:32

💭 Reflection

Who is a sinner?
Are there truly sinless people walking around this earth?
What does it mean to be righteous?

The answers are simpler than you think.

Every human being sins.
Every one of us.
But believers — those who accept Jesus — are made clean by His blood.
We are made righteous because of Him.

Our spirit is clean.
Our flesh is not.

This flesh we live in is part of a broken world, full of sin, habits, triggers, temptations, short thinking, and emotions that catch us off guard. Even when we WANT to do better, we fail sometimes — all of us. DAILY.

But listen closely:

When we come to Jesus, we are washed clean.
We are no longer sinners by identity —
we are righteous people who sometimes fall short.

Just like that old devotional analogy:
Our spirit goes through the carwash and comes out spotless.

Our flesh? It still gets muddy sometimes.

But hear this, my brothers and sisters:

⭐ You WILL fall short of the glory of God — yet you ARE forgiven.

Guilt and shame are the works of the enemy, not God.
Jesus already saved you.
There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

We don’t WANT to sin. That matters.
We strive to do better. That matters.
We love God and follow Jesus. That matters.

💬 A Word to Non-Believers Reading This

Let me ask you honestly…

What is keeping you from Jesus?

What would He have to do to show you He’s real?

I’ve questioned before. I’ve doubted before. I’ve had moments of weakness.
But here’s what I realized:

If I believe in Jesus and I’m wrong — what did I lose?
Nothing.

But if I choose NOT to believe, and Jesus is real…
Then the consequences are eternal.

So again I ask…

What is truly holding you back from faith?
What sign, what moment, what whisper would help you believe?

Talk to God.
He’s not afraid of your questions.

Try praying something simple like:

“God, if You want me to believe in You, then show me in a way I’ll understand.”

I can’t promise what He’ll do…
but I can promise many of you will get an answer.

🙏 Prayer

Father God, today I pray for every person reading this — believer or not.
Open their eyes.
Give them the answers they seek.
Show them that Jesus is the only way, the only truth, and the only hope we have.

Everyone, pray this with me:

Jesus, I believe.
I believe You died so I may live.
I believe You shed Your blood to make me clean.
You took my punishment so I could have eternal life.
Come into my heart today — even if I only open the door a crack.
Fill me with Your light. Show me what I’ve been missing.

In Jesus’ name we pray — Amen.
