📖 Daily Devotional — “God, Don’t Let Me Quit”
📖 Verse
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
— Galatians 6:9
💭 Reflection
Some prayers are long and eloquent.
Others are simple and desperate.
“God, don’t let me quit.”
There are seasons where faith feels strong and joy comes easy. And then there are seasons where obedience feels heavy, answers are quiet, and the waiting hurts. That doesn’t mean God is distant. It means the season is refining us.
God never promised the journey would be easy. God promised the journey would be worth it.
When we feel tired, discouraged, or ready to give up, God does not ask us to be stronger. God asks us to stay. To keep taking one step. To keep trusting even when the outcome isn’t clear.
If you’re weary today, you’re not failing.
If you’re tired of waiting, you’re not weak.
If all you can pray is “God, don’t let me quit,” that prayer is enough.
God sees the faithfulness that no one else sees. And at the right time — not late, not early — God will bring the harvest.
Hold on. Help is closer than you think.
🙏 Prayer
Father God, today I come to You tired, honest, and in need of strength. I don’t ask for easy — I ask for endurance. When my faith feels low and my hope feels thin, hold me up. Don’t let me quit when I’m closer than I realize. I trust You even when the waiting hurts.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
