📖 Daily Devotional — Enough for Today

📖 Verse

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
— Matthew 6:34

💭 Reflection

We spend so much time worrying about what’s next. Tomorrow’s plans. Tomorrow’s problems. Tomorrow’s answers. But Jesus gently reminds us that today is enough.

God does not ask us to carry tomorrow. God asks us to be faithful now.

Tomorrow belongs to God. He already sees it. He already knows what it holds. And He is already there. When we try to live in tomorrow, we rob today of its peace, its joy, and its purpose.

Today is where obedience happens.
Today is where joy can be found.
Today is where God meets us.

You don’t need all the answers right now. You don’t need the full picture. You only need to walk faithfully in the step in front of you. When tomorrow comes, God will be there too—just as faithful, just as present.

So breathe.
Let go of what hasn’t happened yet.
And trust God with what you cannot see.

Today is enough.

🙏 Prayer

Father God, thank You for today. Help us to release our worries about tomorrow and trust You with what lies ahead. Teach us to be present, grateful, and faithful in the moment You’ve given us. We place our future in Your hands and choose peace today.
