📖 Daily Devotional — Still Showing Up
📖 Verse
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
— Galatians 6:9
💭 Reflection
Some days, the hardest thing isn’t faith —
it’s showing up again.
Showing up when no one checks in.
Showing up when you feel overlooked.
Showing up when the effort doesn’t seem to be returned.
And yet… here you are.
Still loving.
Still giving.
Still trying to do what’s right.
God sees that.
Just because people don’t always notice doesn’t mean your faithfulness is wasted. Some seeds grow underground for a long time before anything breaks the surface. That doesn’t mean nothing is happening — it means roots are forming.
If you’re tired today, you’re not failing.
If you’re discouraged, you’re not weak.
If you’re still standing, even quietly — you’re doing more than you think.
God is not asking you to carry the whole world.
God is asking you not to give up.
So take a breath today.
Rest where you need to.
And remember — being faithful in the quiet still matters.
You are not unseen.
You are not forgotten.
And God is still working.
🙏 Prayer
Father God,
For anyone who is weary today, bring strength.
For anyone who feels unseen, bring reassurance.
Help us keep doing good, even when it feels thankless.
Remind us that You see every step, every act of love, and every quiet act of faithfulness.
Give us peace today, and the courage to keep showing up.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
This is truly lovely, and reminds me to do what I can. Keep praying. Keep moving.
Amen! 🙂
