Praise for Mary’s Surrender
📖 Scripture
“‘I am the Lord’s servant,’ Mary answered. ‘May your word to me be fulfilled.’”
— Luke 1:38 (NIV)
🔥 Prais-otional — Day 2: Praise for Mary’s Surrender
Before the manger.
Before the journey.
Before Bethlehem…
There was a quiet moment where a teenage girl said one of the most powerful phrases in all of Scripture:
“I am the Lord’s servant.”
Mary didn’t have all the answers.
She didn’t know how Joseph would respond.
She didn’t know how the community would react.
She didn’t even know how the miracle would work.
But she trusted the One who spoke.
Today we praise God for Mary’s surrender — a beautiful act of obedience that made room for the Savior to enter the world.
Her “yes” became the doorway through which hope took on flesh.
This Christmas season reminds us:
God still moves through surrendered hearts.
He still works through ordinary people willing to believe the impossible.
He still invites us to say:
“Let it be according to Your word.”
Praise rises when surrender is our posture.
🙏 Prayer of Praise
God, today we praise You for Mary’s faith and obedience.
Give us hearts that trust You even when we don’t understand.
Teach us to surrender like she did —
willing, humble, and full of praise for what You’re doing.
Amen.
