The Christmas story begins long before the manger.
Before shepherds heard the sky explode with glory…
Before wise men began their journey…
Before Bethlehem filled with travelers…

There was a quiet moment in Nazareth when God sent Gabriel to speak to a young woman named Mary.

His first words were not commands, or warnings, or requirements.

They were:

“You are favored.
The Lord is with you.”

Today we praise God for the announcement He gave to Mary — the moment Heaven revealed that the long-awaited Savior would enter the world through the humble obedience of a faithful woman.

This was the beginning of hope taking on flesh.
This was the spark before the Light entered the world.
This was God’s mercy stepping toward humanity with a name…

Jesus.

And as we begin this 25 Days of Praise, we join Mary in her first response — not fear, not doubt, but a heart willing to praise and receive what God is doing.

🙏 Prayer of Praise

God, today we praise You for the announcement that began it all.
Thank You for choosing Mary, for sending Gabriel,
and for revealing that Your favor rests upon ordinary people willing to say “yes.”
Fill our hearts with the same faith, the same surrender, and the same praise
as we begin this season focused on Christ.
Amen.

Day 1 of 25 Days of Praise ✨
We begin where the Christmas story truly begins — with Gabriel’s announcement to Mary.
A message of favor.
A message of hope.
A message that Jesus was coming into the world.

As we start this journey of praise, may our hearts echo Mary’s response:
“Let it be to me according to Your word.”
