Giving It Forward is a community outreach project from God’s Grace Studios LLC with one simple goal:

Help people help people.

There are people in our community who need a bed, a dresser, pots and pans, clothing, an appliance, or sometimes just a little help getting something repaired. At the same time, there are people who have useful items sitting around that they no longer need, people with skills they are willing to share, and people who simply want to help.

Giving It Forward is meant to help connect those people.

If you are in need of help, you can contact God’s Grace Studios privately and tell us what you need.

We will do our best to verify requests before posting them to the community. This protects the people giving, helps reduce scams, and allows those receiving help to maintain some privacy and dignity.

Once a need is verified, we may:

• Match the person with an item already donated

• Post the needed item in the Giving It Forward group

• Find someone willing to donate the item

• Repair or restore an item when possible

• Build an item through The Giving Collection

• Connect someone with another person who may be able to help

Not every request will be something we can fulfill, but we will do what we reasonably can with the resources available.

Giving does not always mean money.

You may be able to give:

• Furniture

• Household items

• Pots, pans, and dishes

• Clothing

• Working or repairable appliances

• Lumber, hardware, paint, finishes, or repair parts

• Transportation or delivery help

• Storage space

• Time

• Labor

• Knowledge or skills

• Financial support toward materials and repairs

Sometimes the best thing you can give is simply something you already have that someone else needs.

If storage space is limited, you may also offer an item while keeping it at your home until we find the right person for it.

God’s Grace Studios is also developing The Giving Collection, a line of simple, strong, hand-built furniture designed specifically with giving in mind.

The Giving Collection may include:

• Bed frames

• Tables

• Nightstands

• Shelving

• Other useful household furniture

These pieces are designed to be affordable to build while still being strong, attractive, and something a family can be proud to have in their home.

Whenever resources allow, Giving Collection pieces may be given completely free to individuals or families in need.

Giving It Forward is not limited to furniture.

As time, tools, parts, and resources allow, God’s Grace Studios may also offer free or greatly discounted minor repairs for people in need.

This may include certain:

• Appliance repairs

• Minor automotive repairs

• Furniture repairs

• Household repairs or projects

Every situation is different, and we cannot guarantee that every repair or request can be accepted.

Giving It Forward is primarily focused on items, practical assistance, skills, and community support.

The group is not intended to become a place where people publicly request cash or ask strangers to pay personal bills.

We do not allow direct requests for:

• Cash

• Rent

• Utilities

• Personal bills

• Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or similar payments

There may be circumstances where GGS chooses to share or organize an approved fundraiser for a family or special situation, but those will be handled individually.

One of the most important parts of Giving It Forward is creating a community people can trust.

People needing assistance are encouraged to contact us privately rather than posting their personal circumstances publicly.

Needs are private. Giving is public.

We may ask questions or request reasonable information to verify a need before assistance is provided. This is not meant to embarrass anyone. It is simply our way of protecting the generosity of the community and helping make sure resources reach people who genuinely need them.

Giving It Forward is new.

We do not have a warehouse full of furniture. We do not have a large staff or unlimited funding. Storage space is currently very limited.

We are starting with what we have.

A garage.
A workshop.
Some tools.
Some lumber.
Some donated items.
And people willing to help.

As the community grows, we hope to find additional volunteers, storage space, donors, businesses, churches, organizations, and other people who want to work together.

We will learn as we go and make changes when something can be done better.

Financial donations may be accepted to help purchase lumber, hardware, repair parts, finishing supplies, shop materials, and other resources used to help people through Giving It Forward.

We want to be as transparent as reasonably possible about what things cost to build, repair, and restore.

God’s Grace Studios is currently an LLC, not a nonprofit organization. Donations made to GGS are not tax-deductible charitable contributions, and we cannot provide charitable donation receipts.

In the future, we hope to establish a separate nonprofit foundation as the giving ministry grows. For now, the priority is simply doing what we can to help people with the resources available today.

Because a lot of good things are thrown away while someone a few miles away may desperately need them.

Because sometimes a person needs help but is embarrassed to ask.

Because not everyone can give money, but almost everyone has something they can contribute.

And because stronger communities are built when people stop asking, “Who is going to fix this?” and start asking:

“What can I do to help?”

Giving It Forward is about generosity, dignity, grace, and community.

You do not have to be wealthy.
You do not have to own a business.
You do not have to have special qualifications.

Maybe you have a dresser.

Maybe you know how to repair a washing machine.

Maybe you have a truck and can help deliver a bed.

Maybe you can give $10 toward lumber.

Maybe you can spend an afternoon helping in the shop.

Maybe today you need help—and someday you will be in a position to help somebody else.

That is what Giving It Forward is all about.

Give what you can. Receive when you need to. Keep the giving moving.
