When You Don’t Have All the Answers
Brother Deacon has a problem.
He’s thinking.
A lot.
Actually… he may be thinking a little too much.
When life presents us with a decision, it’s easy to believe we need to figure out every detail before taking the next step. We want the full plan, the perfect answer, and maybe a flashing sign from heaven that says, “Yep, go this way!”
Grace reminds Brother Deacon of something much simpler:
God doesn’t always ask us to have all the answers. He asks us to trust Him with the next step.
That’s what faith looks like sometimes.
Not knowing exactly how everything will turn out.
Not understanding every detail.
Not seeing the entire road ahead.
But trusting the One who does.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
Brother Deacon may still have a tendency to overthink things — and Grace will probably continue pointing that out — but today he learned an important lesson:
We don’t need to see the whole staircase. We just need enough faith to take the next step.
Whatever you’re facing today, pray about it, trust God, and keep moving forward.
He already sees where the road leads.
Faith. Grace. Grit. And probably coffee.
