I thought I was ready to build the perfect shelf. I had the boards. I had the tools. I even had plenty of enthusiasm.
There was just one little problem...
I forgot the foundation. 😅
Sometimes we treat our spiritual lives the same way. We stay busy, gather knowledge, and make plans, but if Jesus isn't our foundation, everything else eventually falls apart.
The good news is that Christ is the one foundation that never fails. Build your life on Him, and you'll have something that lasts far longer than any project in the workshop.
"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ." — 1 Corinthians 3:11
